Modern Portraits for Women 40 years old and Beyond

My truest passion is to lift women up and empower them through a photoshoot. To hold space for them to step into their power and capture the best version of themselves and then show it back to them.

Because, I know that will have a ripple effect in her life in the most positive way and that will radiate through her family and community.

I turned 40 this year and want to celebrate the woman I am becoming by celebrating other women my age and beyond. I want to give these women the Judith Hill Photography experience.

Because in my studio, we hold space to celebrate lives and build confidence every single day. We do this by providing a makeover and photoshoot experience. Just like a celebrity in a magazine, we offer professional hair and makeup and multiple outfit changes that give women the opportunity to express the different facets of who they are. You can bring anything from lingerie to jeans to full on glam.

I want women our age to exist in the media in a beautiful way. Let’s change the conversation about the beauty of aging. Let’s lift each other up by stepping out of the shadows to share our light, our wisdom, and our journey to becoming who we are.

As a photographer it is my responsibility to change the narrative through imagery.

So, I’m searching for 40 women who are 39 years old or older who would like to celebrate and express who they are through a contemporary portrait session. I want to tell her story and capture the most beautiful image she has ever seen of herself.

I want to empower each of these women to see in them what I see and then honor the confidence and self-discovery which occurs when you find your own power and grace staring back at you.

You can find out more by visiting the 40 Over 40 Project page

The biggest lesson I have learned to this point is to love myself more and judge myself less. And if you haven’t gotten there, let me show you how. I can do that through a portrait session or you can start by listening to my self-love talk. This talk is what I would put next to my 40 Over 40 Portrait to lift up women and girls of all ages.

We will be celebrating this project with a photobook and exhibit of all the women who participated in March of 2022. More details to come.

With Love,

Judith
